When a UK private food processor had a dispute between two shareholder groups concerning the identification of assets and their value, they turned to Hickman Shearer for advice and support.

The dispute concerned the identification of assets and their value.
Our research and analysis enabled us to confirm that the assets acquired by one party were inflated both in terms of those required to fulfil a production task and also cost.
We provided a valuation report to support our analysis and valuation opinion.
Outcome
The shareholders utilised the work to enable them to negotiate a satisfactory agreed outcome.
