In February and May 2022, over 3,000 lots of Outside Broadcast and TV Production Equipment were auctioned on behalf of the joint Administrators of Arena Television Limited (in Administration). The Arena TV Auction, led by Hickman Shearer and CA Global Partners, included a wide array of assets ranging from Outside Broadcasting trucks to cameras, lenses, and hundreds of kilometres of cabling. This event attracted global interest, offering a rare chance to purchase equipment from a key player in British broadcasting history.
Impressive Sales Results
The auction was a major success, generating over £8.5 million in total sales. Notably, 94% of the assets were sold and cleared within just 13 weeks, showcasing the efficiency of the auction process.
